The teal Valentine's Day cookies

This year for Valentine's Day Hunter and Kelli decided to make some cookies. Hunter likes to help his mom cook. They baked the cookies, and then set to make the frosting while they were cooling. Kelli suggested some pink or red frosting; Hunter said, "No." He didn't even want white frosting. He said he wanted green frosting. So Kelli let him add the food coloring to the frosting, and that was A LOT of fun. So after a few drops of green he added some yellow and a lot of blue and the frosting came out kind of teal in color. So they look a little strange, but they taste good.

You can also see in the picture of the cookies that some of them have some lovely fingerprints in the frosting. Hunter liked to scrape the frosting off with his finger and lick it or squirt the frosting from the piping bag right into his mouth. After either he always replied, "I love frosting!"
